Meet Nicola

Q: What inspires you about Bremerton?

A: Bremerton inspires me because of the people. I always receive a warm welcome and the town is filled with people living their dream and running their own businesses.

Q: What drew you to your medium?

A: I was drawn to photography because it is an avenue that allowed me to make art with my camera. I was always envious of painters and other artists who could put their visions to paper in a way I never could and photography allowed me that opportunity.

Q: What is your favorite local spot?

A: I have many favorite local spots. In Bremerton I do love the vibe of Cups & Expresso and Smokey Robinson Cafe has some amazing BBQ.

Q: What does your perfect First Friday look like?

A: The perfect First Friday is streets and businesses filled with vendors and people filling the streets. People will be walking with coffee in hand and engaging with vendors and vendors will enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.

Q: Where can we find more of your art?

A: My art is displayed on my Instagram handle @PhotoartbyNicola as I work to get my work noticed throughout the Pacific Northwest.⁠
