Meet Leilani
Q: What inspires you about Bremerton?
A: What inspires me is the variety of people from different backgrounds, being a place that’s getting more family friendly over all these years; I’ve been happy to have been here for over 20 years!
Q: What drew you to your medium?
A: I’ve always loved creating art and once I became a mother I began painting with my children; and slowly starting creating more art with acrylics. I would love to get more practice with oils and watercolor.
Q: What is your favorite local spot?
A: Right now I would say it’s Rimbert Illustrations with Danielle. Her place is so friendly and beautiful. It is so welcoming and I’ve been very lucky to have been able to participate in her collaborative art themes!
Q: Where do you find inspiration?
A: Everywhere! I love the PNW. I love nature and I’ve always been drawn to the ocean so I find lots of inspiration with water. I also get inspired by my mood and day-to day little joys.
Q: What does your perfect First Friday look like?
A: A busy fun and creative evening where all sorts of people and their talents are on display ready to be shared and appreciated.💕
