Do you have a passion for storytelling through photography? Want to be part of some of Bremerton’s most exciting community events? The Downtown Bremerton Association (DBA) is seeking a talented and professional photographer or photography team to help us visually capture our downtown’s vibrant spirit!

We're officially issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for photography services to support a series of community events throughout 2025. This is a paid opportunity (up to $8,000) with the chance to photograph major community celebrations in downtown Bremerton.

🎯 About the Opportunity

We're looking for a photographer who understands not just how to shoot a great image—but how to tell the story of connection, culture, and creativity that defines Downtown Bremerton.

The selected photographer will cover a wide range of events from summer to winter, including:

  • Quincy Square Ribbon Cutting Festival (July 12–13)

  • GreenDrinks aboard the USS Turner Joy (August 14)

  • Rock the Dock Music Festival (August 16)

  • Trick or Treat Street (October 31)

  • Winterfest & Shop Small Saturday (November 29)

Photography services will include a mix of event coverage, candid crowd shots, branding and sponsor visibility, setup imagery, and downtown streetscape photos to support DBA’s ongoing promotional efforts.

📄 What's Required?

Here’s a snapshot of what the RFP entails:

  • Complete photography coverage of each event

  • Delivery of all raw and edited high-resolution images within 10 days

  • Ownership and full usage rights granted to DBA (no watermarking)

  • Coordination with DBA staff and familiarity with each event schedule

  • A strong portfolio with examples of similar work

  • Your own equipment (video optional)

📅 Deadline to Apply: Friday, June 20, 2025📨 Submit proposals (PDF, max 5 pages) to: director@downtownbremerton.org

Include in your proposal:

  • Executive summary and relevant experience

  • Samples of past work or link to your portfolio

  • Details about your team (if applicable)

  • Cost breakdown and travel expenses

  • At least 3 references

  • Signed proposal
