Downtown Bremerton Association Seeks Digital Marketing & Social Media Contractor

The Downtown Bremerton Association (DBA) is excited to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Digital Marketing and Social Media Management Contractor to support both the Downtown Bremerton Association and Quincy Square.

As Downtown Bremerton continues to grow, so does the need to tell its story. From community events and local businesses to Quincy Square programming and downtown revitalization efforts, we're looking for a creative professional who can help showcase everything that makes our downtown unique.

About the Opportunity

The selected contractor will work closely with the DBA to manage the social media presence for both the Downtown Bremerton Association and Quincy Square. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing content calendars

  • Creating engaging photo, video, and graphic content

  • Covering community events and activations

  • Managing Facebook and Instagram accounts

  • Engaging with the online community

  • Highlighting local businesses, events, and partnerships

  • Providing monthly performance reporting

This is an independent contractor opportunity to help shape the voice and digital presence of one of Washington's newest designated Main Street communities.

Who Should Apply?

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about storytelling and community engagement

  • Experienced in social media management and content creation

  • Comfortable capturing content at live events, including evenings and weekends

  • Organized, collaborative, and able to work independently

  • Excited about downtown revitalization, placemaking, and supporting small businesses

Experience working with nonprofits, downtown organizations, tourism, destination marketing, or event promotion is a plus.
