What To Expect

Get ready for the ultimate summer movie experience right here in downtown Bremerton! Movies in the Square is a 6-week outdoor film series packed with family-friendly feature films, interactive pre-show entertainment, and delicious local treats. This year, we are thrilled to team up with the West Sound Film Festival to elevate our screenings. Every event kicks off with exclusive indie short films and previews curated by the festival team, followed by the main feature on our massive outdoor screen!

BYOCP | Bring your own Chair and Picnic

Settle into Quincy Square with your comfiest camping chair or a cozy blanket from home and create your own perfect picnic setup. Pack your favorite snacks, takeout from a nearby restaurant, or a full spread to share with friends and family. Arrive early to claim a great spot, get comfortable as the sun goes down, and then tune in to our programming under the open sky. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the designated areas at surrounding businesses; please consult those businesses for more details.

The Movie

Hold onto your butts! We are closing out our summer movie series with the grand finale to end all grand finales: Steven Spielberg’s cinematic masterpiece, Jurassic Park. This groundbreaking, heart-pounding sci-fi adventure takes us to Isla Nublar, a remote tropical island where a wealthy, eccentric billionaire has successfully cloned real-life dinosaurs to create the ultimate safari theme park. Before opening the gates to the public, a select group of experts—including pragmatic paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant, paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler, and cynical mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm—are brought in to certify its safety. But when a tropical storm hits and a disgruntled programmer sabotages the security system, the power grid goes down, and the prehistoric predators break free.

Now, a terrifying fight for survival begins as humans find themselves hunted by massive Tyrannosaurus Rexes and cunning Velociraptors. The Venue

Quincy Square is Downtown Bremerton’s newest public plaza and cultural hub located just a few blocks from the Seattle-Bremerton Ferry Terminal. 

This revitalized street plaza offers flexible, active space to create, connect, and celebrate, from cultural programming to intimate concerts and casual get-togethers.
